Celtic Music and Dance Workshops 2015

About the Workshops

All workshops take place on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at La Vérendrye High School, 175 High St. N.. Workshops will be offered for various levels and are a 'reel' family event geared for all ages to participate together. Classes labelled “beginner” require no experience. Novice is for folks with some experience. Intermediate is for those with a good basic background and who are familiar with learning in this style. Advanced is for people with several years (6+) of music experience and who want to stretch their boundaries. Workshops are intended to be inter-generational, however we recommend that our younger participants be age 6 or older. Participants should have their own instrument or be in touch with us about borrowing. All traditional dance is suitable for male and female. Come for one workshop or come for the day with the whole family!

Each workshop is $10 per participant.
Workshops are 50 - 55 minutes long.
Maximum of 10 to 15 registrants per class.
See detailed descriptions of each workshop below.
